1C30.11: FREE FALL WITH MOTION SENSOR

PURPOSE: To measure the acceleration of gravity.

DESCRIPTION: Direct measurement of the acceleration with data acquisition system and motion sensor. The motion sensor is positioned about 2 meters high. Toss a ball up toward the motion detector. The slpoe of the velocity graph is the acceleration of the ball due to gravity.
