DESCRIPTION: Removing the outer glass shell from a CRT allows students to see the important internal components of the tube, including the geometry of the deflection plates. Pass it around the class. The core of the CRT has been mounted in a c lear plastic tube to prevent damage to the CRT and to viewers' hands.
