“Nina Zubrilina is the recipient of the 2020 AMS-MAA-SIAM Frank and Brennie Morgan Prize for Outstanding Research in Mathematics by an Undergraduate Student for ‘her research in the areas of analysis and analytic number theory… characterized by her independent vision, her creativity, and her technical abilities.’… Zubrilina graduated from Stanford University with departmental honors and is now a PhD student in mathematics at Princeton University.” Read more here.
The current issue of Clemson’s The Echo includes an article about “English professor Rhondda Robinson Thomas [who] is researching and sharing the stories of African Americans who contributed to Clemson’s development from 1825 to the present.”
Clemson will observe its 38th annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. celebration. The theme for this year’s celebration is 2020 Vision: Looking Back, Moving Forward. Events will take place Jan 20-23 for the campus and the community to reflect on the legacy of Dr. King and its application in our society today.
