From the Clemson Newsstand: Clemson University’s commitment to inclusion and equity ensure progress will be made this Fall semester despite the challenges presented by the COVID-19 pandemic. One example is the Strategic Inclusive Excellence Certificate program, which has transitioned online this fall. The program aims to help faculty, staff and graduate assistants develop the skills needed to advance equity, diversity and inclusion at Clemson.

From Clemson Online: Clemson Online enabled the Personal Pronoun function within Canvas. Now you can select personal pronouns to add to your user account. Personal pronouns display after your name in various areas in Canvas.

Dr. Suzanne L. Weekes Named SIAM Executive Director

From SIAM: Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (SIAM) has announced the appointment of Dr. Suzanne L. Weekes, Associate Dean of Undergraduate Studies, ad interim, and Professor of Mathematical Sciences at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI), to the position of Executive Director. In her new role, Weekes will continue to build SIAM’s reputation as the leading professional society for applied mathematicians and computational scientists.
